How long for a calcaneal stress fracture to heal?

What does a positive calcaneal squeeze test mean?

The calcaneal squeeze test is when you apply pressure with your hand to both sides of the calcaneus or heel bone and squeeze it. If doing that elicits symptoms, then you have a ‘positive calcaneal squeeze test’. This means that you probably have a calcaneal stress fracture (if you are active) or calcaneal apophysitis (if you are younger).
