The PediRoller is the brand name of a popular “massage” devices that is place on the ground or hard surface and the foot is moved back and forwards over it to give the bottom of the foot a massage. this is similar to the foam roller type devices that are used to self-massage larger muscle groups. In the foot this can be helpful for arch pain or conditions like plantar fasciitis.
One advantage of this particular device, the PediRoller that is can be refrigerated, so can be used to provide some “ice” therapy as well as the massage.
The research evidence is that devices like the PediRoller to give a self massage can help plantar fasciitis.
