Firstly, in Australia the Archies thongs are a brand of footwear. In Australia, thongs are the name for flip flops (they call them jandals in New Zealand).
I have made no secret that I am a big fan of them. I certainly use them and recommend them and have even done a video on the MOSI modification I make to the Archies when I need that kind of feature.
