how do podiatrists remove corns

What happens if corns are left untreated?

  1. They will hurt
  2. They may become infected and ulcerate

If the cause of a corn on the foot is still there and no treatment is started, then it will just keep on getting worse and become even more painful. It may eventually ulcerate and become infected. That infection can spread. If you have something like diabetes, then that is a potentially very serious outcome.

If, however, the cause of the corn is removed, then it will eventually go away on its own and not be a problem any more.

Takes corns seriously. Get rid of the cause (either by yourself or with the help of a Podiatrist) and you will be fine.
